Mission Statement

Mission of AYDL 

Our Mission in establishing the Arizona Youth Development League is to create a space for beginner and intermediate level club teams to learn and compete in a competitive environment that is aligned with your team's experience and skill level. 

The AYDL is designed to improve developmental club basketball teams by allowing them to compete and learn at a level designed for those that have outgrown rec leagues but aren't ready to compete against highly competitive teams yet.

This league will help establish the confidence and overall experience necessary for your teams to eventually be able to compete at the next level in club basketball. 

The goals we have set for your developmental teams to achieve are: 

• Build self confidence 

• Establish a fun but competitive environment for beginner and intermediate teams

• Improve team experience by competing against other development level teams. 

• Special gameplay rules that allow kids to learn the game at their pace

• 6-week season including playoffs
