“ We define developmental teams as teams with players of average to below average skill level and beginner to intermediate experience. No “ sandbagging “ will be allowed “ and teams that are not developmental will not be allowed to compete in this league. The AYBL’s sole purpose is to be used as a tool for club owners to prepare and develop their developmental teams so that they can ultimately be able to compete in tournaments one day, while having the kids enjoy their experience and compete against teams of similar skill and experience levels.
